02 Jetta problems

Wow – I’m surprised at all this feedback on VW! Wished I would’ve seen this before purchasing my Jetta. It’s new and I’ve had it for 11 months – so far the windows, speakers, sunroof parts, and front seat needed replaced – which the dealer did. VW customer service offered me an oil change for my problems. How about a reliable car?!

    02 Jetta problems – I had a 00 GTI GLX for 34 months that I dumped in 3/03.

    I’ve had my Civic for 9 months now. I have done nothing to it but put gas in and change the oil. Zero problems.

    By this time with the GTI, I had the window fall in the door twice and several emission problems. The GTI cost 5K more than the Civic.

    I have also had 3 Saturns that cost 1/2 as much as my VW with much, much less problems.

    VWs are a blast to drive, but their reliability problems are driving customers away.
