97 Jetta Trek

Hi guys, I just find this page new in here, and I think I should share a little of my experience to you guys. My brother brought the Jetta Trek in 1997 for Brand new. It’s good to drive, however, 4 months later, while my brother was driving the Jetta and he is turning right at the speed of 50km/h on the road that it’s allow to go 60km/h, the back left hand side rim came off, and we didn’t do anything on change rim and stuff. It was a pissed off.
Second thing, the left back window went down suddenly since I didn’t push any button. I want to tell you guys it was a winter time. Freeze my ass out…….
Once I took the Jetta for a car wash, while I was rinsing the bumper, a piece of paint came out, and I was like what the………this car is a piece of shit…….Guys, I forgot how much I pay for fixing this wreck, but I would just love to share my experience to you guys…..if there is not VW in the world, peace……..
More and More and More problems! after four years later, I finally traded in the damn Jetta to a new Protege 5 which I am driving for 2 years already. No problems at all. I promised, the day I still alive, I would stop my friends, others to get VW unless they are too rich or love to get his/her fix often.
