Check engine light

I replaced the O2 sensor in my car 3 times. All because of the gas that I was using. I had to change from plus to premium. I have a 2000 Jetta, overall it’s an ok car. Rides good but I have put it up and bought a junker every day car. It’s not all that it is hyped up to be!!!!

99 passat ARRGHHHHH!

We’ve been without our car since Halloween week. It’s now DECEMBER!!!! And the dealership has done nothing but jerk us around the entire time. I can’t wait to elaborate but I don’t want to p’ them off any further. As it is we’re meeting with our lawyer tomorrow. We have had way too many repairs and only recently reached 60,000.Thank you for this site! I thought we had bad “”carma”" but it’s just a bad car!

Jessica (who still owns a crappy ‘99 passat while DHs ‘77 westfalia camper van is still running- oh the irony…)

ALTERNATOR CITY

I have a 1997 Golf w/ 50,000 miles. I own it now and bought it brand new. I’ve had the alternator changed 4 times since 1997. It needs replacing every 2 years and I break down every 2 years at least. AND all the molding fell off and keeps falling off. VWs are pieces of sh#t!

Volkswagen Sucks – No Drivers Needed

My Volkswagen 2002 Passat has been having problems with the oil pump for sometime now. Deel VW has not honor the warranty and I have had to pay for the repairs. I have complaint to (VW of America and Deel VW) and my complaint has been ignored. Deel VW and VW of America has always pass on the problem on to me (the Consumer), instead of taking responsibility upon themselves for selling me a Lemon Car. I have showed them; the car maintenance record as proof several times and they always blame someone else. The car was also been recall; for ignition coil problem. This condition may also effect the emissions of the vehicle. The problem has been repair; but I have absolutely no trust on Deel VW and VW of America! NHTSA has had; 250 complaints from consumer owning a 2002 VW Passat and Im one of them. I have submitted complaints to Florida Attorney General, NHTSA and the Consumer Affairs. VW of America and Deel VW have been investigating the problems with my car and have not taken any action.

The car is back in the dealer again and this time I took it to (Esserman VW); for problems with the Turbo and they wont honor the warranty. The cost to replace the Turbo is $3,089.00; bringing the total cost of the repairs to $8,536.80 out of pocket; not including the car rentalsthat they refuse to pay also.

VW of America is now telling me to work with the dealership and the dealership is telling us to work with VW of America, and neither party will do anything as they both claim it is out of warranty and my fault. We claim that the problem has never been fixed to begin with from when it happened in warranty, as evidenced by VW’s own service records. It is ridiculous to continually pay for the same obviously either misdiagnosed or defective part as manufactured by VW. I would like the problem fix and the money spent on this problems refundedincluding the car rental. Im asking for your help; since VW of America & Deel VW refuses to do anythingto rectify my problem. They have ruined my families Christmas and vacationwith the new repairs on the car!
