MY JETTA WONT SHIFT
Yeah well I bought my car brand new in 2000 it was a left over from 99 the first year the new body style was avaliable…
I have had nothing but problems with the car most of them being small…but now the automatic tranny is stuck in 3rd gear when it is in Drive…
So I called the VW dealer and they said that it is under warranty…But the thing is because I didnt leave the car totatlly stock I am worried they are not going to cover it…And we all know how expensive it is to fix a vw…Especailly if its a dealer item only…
Like when i paid 600bucks for an axel because it was a dealer item only….yeah i did that 2 times…
Im so scared of what they are gonna say is wrong with the car…I think its electrical a couple of sensors…But yeah im kinda scared cuz i have no idea how much sensors for the car are.
I love my car but i hate the fact that I have no idea how much it is going to cost to fix it and that It should be under warranty..Because I did not mechanical upgrades to the car its all visual add ons that i put on the car…but i will know next week I guess

MY JETTA WONT SHIFT – let me add that I only have 60k on my car and only drive it for about 9 months out of the year…it sits for about 3 to 4 months at a time and at one point the car wasnt driven for about 7 months…the car has mostly highway miles…so I hve no idea why I am having these types of problems.

MY JETTA WONT SHIFT – No dealer is going to deny any warranty over looks the warranty covers engine and trans. not any sensors for it. regardless i think your scared because you did something and dont want to admit it.

Buy a bicycle, cheaper maintenance, no insurance costs, and you can customize the heck out of it without any problem at all.
