Body Side Mouldings

Nearly every 1996 and 1997 VW I see on the road is missing at least one, or more of the body side mouldings.

The mouldings fall off at about 4 years of age.

Body Side Mouldings – Hello All,

I would have to agree with this one.
I would recommend installing the moldings from the 93-95 they are clipped in.

    Best Regards,

Body Side Mouldings – Someone I know literally Superglued his molding on – - I’ve glued mine a million times, and it has never stuck. Needless to say, I wish I would’ve seen this site before I bought my car . . .

Body Side Mouldings – I had a 96 Golf had all moldings fall apart, the european side moldings come with clips and will stay, but they cost a good 200- 300 bucks, which is why I glued my moldings back on, using some reliable glue. Of course the winter cold will make the moldings come off again, but I sold my car b4 that.
