Engine Seized!!!!
My 2003 VW Passat 1.8T is a piece of !@#$. My engine seized with having 20k miles and 5 oil changes. The dealer is screwing me around and they said VW may not warranty this vehicle. The dealer told me I must not have maintained the vehicle. I told them my car is in better shape than the cars in their showroom!

Engine Seized!!!! – Dont exaggerate, the cars in the show room come on now lets be realistic. 5 oil changes from the dealer? apparently not if they dont have any proof. for all they know where ever you got your oil change probably didnt even change you oil or put the wrong oil in.

Engine Seized!!!! – I provided the dealer with all my receipts using 5w 30/40 oil and they are fixing the car under warranty. I guess you don’t know shit about this engine because there are several people in my sitaution and yes it is a common problem. You sound like you work for VW.

The problem is the 1.8T has carbon build ups which eventually causes sludge and eventually no oil pressure! Since you know everything about VW why didn’t you mention that? And the dealer didn’t admit that until I told them I knew what the problem was and then they told me that there are several cars in there right now for the same problem. You sound like you work for VW.
