My 2001 VW Jetta

I had the purge valve replaced, motor mounts front wheel bearing brakes 3 times and now my differential or transmission is acting very strange and my car vibrates excessively and I only have 34,000 miles I bought it brand new. I hate my car Im still paying for it and I dont feel safe. Its been in the shop so much they know my phone # by heart

    My 2001 VW Jetta – guess what VW doesn’t care. welcome to the thousands of people who get shafted from VW every single day. There is a guy on the VW Sucks web site called “real advice” he seems to think he knows everything. Maybe he will have some “real advice” for you. The best advice is to do what I am doing and get rid of the vehicle. My engine was just replaced after 18k miles. The bill was $10,250 plus $1400 for the rent a car. I did press VW to make sure they covered the new engine, labor, and rental under warranty which they did. I have 6 months left on my lease and good-bye VW forever!

    My 2001 VW Jetta – May I ask what sort of driving you do? Does it involve badly-maintained roads? Have you hit a pothole recently? Did you bottom-out the shocks recently?

    What do you mean by “”transmission is acting very strange”"?
