Oil pan?
WHAT HAVE I DONE!?! Well Im screwed! I have a 2001 1.8T Wolfsburg. Today I decided to jack it up and put it on blocks (I was going to remove the wheels to paint the calibers.) The damn jack penetrated through the bottom and out came all the oil. I dont know if the jack went through the oil pan or through the block. Now I have to have a truck come out and hall my Jett to the dealership on Monday to see what kind of damage Ive caused. I just spent every dime I had on new wheels and tires, $2,800.00. I should have used the floor jack.

Oil pan? – You need to see TSB 45624: Oil Pan Penetration issue. VW says they will provide a new Jetta to anyone who penetrates their oil pan with a jack or a big stick.
…if only that were true!

Oil pan? – if you diddnt use the specific jackpoints under your car, its pretty much your fault.

Oil pan? – Absolutely this is totally my fault as I failed to use the jack points. I just wanted to share my stupidity with everyone as a lesson to read your manual before getting crazy with your ride. I did have it fixed costing a totally of $465.00, truly a lesson learned the hard way.
BTW sorry for the confusion of changing my user name.
