timing belt - Brought jetta in for timing belt replacment and the next day the crankshaft seal was broken and my new synthetic oil was everywhere. 4 days later they want to charge me $300 for repairs even though it was the fault of the initial routine service. Got the car back last night, drove 50 hard miles to make sure all was ok and found out this morning that they never put oil in the car!

DON'T GO TO CRESTMONT VW IN NORHTERN NJ!!!

timing belt - I was told by my DEALER and V/W that i would have to have my timing belt replaced at 40,000 miles? Thats right 40,000 miles and like an IDIOT i TOOK THERE WORD IT NEEDED TO BE DONE! The timing belt bill came to $913.00 dollars. Then i bought a bentley manual and found out i shouldn't have gotten my first timing belt until 60,000 miles in my (manual golf tdi)V/W and my dealer at the time out right lied to me! I called v/w of america and told them when i put in my timing belt, and they didn't care!
