Chaplin’s VW in Bellevue, WA
I have a 2002 Passat-purchased from Bill Britt VW in Virginia. Everyone @ Bill Britt was fantastic and easy to deal with. Then I moved to WA and have had continuous rude service from the staff @ Chaplins. I love my car but after having to deal with these people I will NEVER buy a VW again. No one ever answers the phone-when you ask service related questions they act as thought you are stupid and that they are too busy for you. You car is NEVER EVER ready when promised. And there are NEVER EVER loaner cars available. Oh and the price quote is NEVER EVER close to the final bill. These people SUCK!!!!!!

Chaplin’s VW in Bellevue, WA – Carolyn, next time you arrange for service at Chaplin’s see if that Andy O’Dell still works there. If he does, request that he service your car. He’s a VAG (Volkswagen Automotive Group, including VW, Audi, and Porsche) enthusiast; owns an ‘89 Jetta, an Audi 5000, and a Porsche 944.
If he isn’t present, might I recommend either finding a trustworthy mechanic specializing in European cars, specifically VAG cars. Or if you don’t mind driving a bit, Auburn VW is half an hour away from Bellevue and they’re supposedly decent, ask for Sean Trollin to service the car, if he’s still there.
