Mileage on V8 Touareg

Have waited now to reach 8100 miles hoping this will get better. I have actual mileage since delivey of 12.5 mpg.
The brochure the salesman gave me shows 18 mpg. What a lie to sell gass thirsty SUVs

Mileage on V8 Touareg

Have waited now to reach 8100 miles hoping this will get better. I have actual mileage since delivey of 12.5 mpg.
The brochure the salesman gave me shows 18 mpg. What a lie to sell gass thirsty SUVs.
I will take them to court on this real soon

    Mileage on V8 Touareg – Please describe your daily driving route.
    Stop and go? Street? Freeway? How many miles of each? How often a day? What octane do you use?

    Etc.

    Driving style. Do you floor it? Do you granny push it at the green light?

    The Touareg is rated 14/18. These are based on optimal driving conditions for street/freeway. This means you don’t accelerate like a bat out of hell at the green, you don’t go into Sport mode, and you keep the RPMs at 3000.

    Mileage on V8 Touareg – its doubtful he’d have sport mode on a v6. he would have to have the 4corner air susp. rare on a v6. but paul is right on the mileage, 18 is highway.

    Mileage on V8 Touareg – If fuel economy is your main concern, you should have sprung for the TDI … as I understand it the TDI has MPG numbers around 20, not to mention the gobs of torque you could be enjoying!!
