2001 VW Passat GLX
I’ve had my Passat for just 7 months and it’s been the shop for various electrical problems 5 times! Anyone having problems with their Passat?

2001 VW Passat GLX – 1. Control Module – unable to open all doors (lock cylinder replaced) 2. Fuel Filler Flap – unable to open gas lid (removed and installed new one) 3. 2 dead batteries – 4 months apart (unable to find where it was being drained) 4. MIL engine light lit up – cooling system faulty (replaced). So far, that’s it in the 7 months I’ve had it.

2001 VW Passat GLX – Yep! 3 years! that’s the typical Volksyugo expiration date on most of their cars!. Try to look under the car. Maybe there’s a date printed by Volksyugo! You aint seen nothin yet!

2001 VW Passat GLX – I have a 2001.5 Passat GL and sure enough after the 3 years I have had various electrical problems. Most recently my sunroof will open by itself out of no where and then close again. The light bulbs behind the dash flicker and have been going out behind the air controls. Let me know if you have these problems too.

2001 VW Passat GLX – My ‘02 Passat just has the optional intermittent A/C system. It must be a fuel mileage thing.
