Problems with a week old car

I just bough a 2005 Passat one week ago today. Already had it in the shop one day. The connectors to the floor heating were not hooked up correctly. Today the gas gage went haywire.

Is this what I have to look forward to?

    Problems with a week old car – Unfortunately, yes. Make sure you document everything. Make sure that they note everything on the work order and make sure that is the receipt that you get back from the dealer. And make sure that you do the oil changes at the exact mileage VW specifies. And, make sure that you use the exact oil that VW specifies. Document, document, document.
