When confronted with VW’s massive quality control problem, VW apologists use the excuse “all carmakers have problems”. That is analogous to using the excuse ” Sure, the Manson family had problems, but all families have problems”.

Excuses – So… VW is like the Manson family? That’s harsh. Care to elaborate?
A broad statement like “”all carmakes have problems”" is analogous to a broad statement made in 2005 saying “”VW cannot compete in the 21st century”".

or – the fact that vw is not directly to blame, but the cheap dealer service depts, which are readily available. vwoa is never going to win customer service awards, this is true, and vw is a stubborned company, but contrast to the beliefs here, they are of a much higher caliber than their peers. ever been to a bmw dealer? lol.

Excuses – People continue to complain about the countless problems with their VW’s. And the apologists continue to offer the excuse that “” all carmakers have problems”".
And, the reason that Touaregs score so low on the initial quality ratings is that the buyers have such “”high expectations”".
And, the reason that there is an overwhelming number of sites and people on the web complaining about VW’s is that VW owners are computer savvy!
VW’s are poorly built pieces of junk! VW dealer network is horrible! And VWoA is the scum of the earth!

you like your manson family analogy, well, chief, vw haters are like a divorcee, yes, you did me well over the years, yes, you will pay my allimony, and yes, you were good, but i hate you cuz you always left the toilet seat up and i remember you yelled at me once!!!!

Really! – Like divorcees, there is a large and growing number of VW haters. It doesn’t take long when dealing with VW to develope irreconsilable differences.

been to a BMW dealer? – heck i worked for a couple……….level of service, training, etc……is leaps and bounds above VW and Audi for that matter. i am sure you can find one person that isn’t happy…but that is like finding one person that is happy with VW/Audi service…….they are out there, just not very many of them.
