This issue was happening to me all summer on very hot and humid day. The way I cleared this issue, I put the gear in Park, then drive again. Now since it has been cooler it has not happening. I reported this issue to Sovereign VW in Hicksville NY, They claim, that they have never seen or heard of this issue.
