Notice Concerning Audi A4 and Volkswagon 1.8 Liter turbo engines
We have a client for whom we are investigating the design defects of the Audi A4 1.8 turbo that resulted in oil sludging and related engine failure.
We are interested in hearing the details of anyone elses experience, including any dealings with Audi in connection with its extended warranty offer.

Amy Myers – I am filing an arbitration claim against VW associated with engine sludge for 2001 Passat. I would like to get company records for the manner in which they set parameters for replacement engine with all oil change records. Have you been able to find any information re Audi. It seems like such an arbitrary decision. I dug up numerous oil change records but am missing two and the company will not replace needed engine to the tune of 9,000. I will stay up nights working on this one
