New Jetta GLI
New GLI on order, and I ordered some LED tailights. That will look nice with the xenon’s, DVD navigation, DSG, paddle shifters….i’m getting too excited. I’m going to my gf’s house. Be back in a little.

I used to think that VWoA’s arrogance and “”screw the customer”" attitude was unique to VWoA. However, the apple does not fall far from the tree. The VAG tree is rotten all the way to Wolfsburg. As more and more information comes out it appears that VAG is a corrupt organization that is rotten to the core.
After seeing VWoA lose over a billion dollars last year and seeing them well on the way to losing over a billion dollars this year, I had hoped that VWoA would close up shop in North America. Now, however, I hope that VWoA continues draining money from VAG until VAG folds.
A light blue, ABT Tuned W12 Touareg with AFS and all other bells and whistles on the Autobahn, in the left lane with the left turn signal on. Oh man. That would just OWN.

Might have to get out your dictionaries, it’s in German.
Couldn’t help but notice the policies section. In the section it states that VW screws the consumer often and willingly. I did not realize that VW executives were posting on this website. Only executives would have this type of inside information.
Volkswagen was a maker of a small car having the passat as the biggest car in the line before the Touareg came out. VW had no experience with SUV’s and we all know that the American market was basically nothing but gas guzzling, unnecessary sized cars just to drive the kids to soccer practice. Volkswagen went out on a limb and went for broke with the Touareg and what happened……..JD Power and Associates gave it best Luxury SUV the first year on the market…….hahahaha. I am not bashing the U.S. when i say this, but American cars do not compare to European engineering and styling and quality. JD power agrees with me also.
You say they suck so bad, but yet so many people have bought one.
All this hype about how VW sucks so bad made me thing back to when the Touareg was first introduced. I remember buying a Car and Driver magazine at the bookstore, to only notice that the Touareg had just won best Luxury SUV. “Wow”, I thought to myself. “Just to think, this is the first time VW has done an SUV and to have it win in the US market.” Goes back to me thinking, AMAZING.
How do we get rid of the “burnt crayon” smell from the inside of our 2001 Jetta? The car only has 20,000 miles and the dealership serice department just looks at us like we are crazy! We have replaced the floor mats and have had it professionally detailed. For the past 1.5 years, the crayon smell has remained. Headaches and dizziness constantly occur while in the car. Please, please, please……….. Any advise is welcomed……Getting desperate……
Have had 4 Volkswagens now. A golf, Jetta 1.8T, GLI and the old VR6 GLI and just ordered the new GLI. Never had one problem. Great cars, Touareg is amazing. Would buy it over an American SUV any day. Had a Phaeton V8 4-seater in the family. ONe word. AMAZING. Now that Mr. Hallmark is at the helm things will be changing.
