Yeah, VW still sucks but the “”My Fast”" commercials are really good.
Another crop of folks will be lured in to VW ownership.
Poor bastards.

My Fast – Like those too.
Looking at the new Volvo C30 for my next car. Euro Car with out the VW stigma and it should be able to eat the GTI for breakfast if Volvo makes good as they did with the show car.
I think that they got at the core of the car enthusiast with the whole series.
Both the Fast and German Dude commercials are catchy enough that I actually caught myself thinking “”hey that new GTI looks cool, I think I’l….
but then I caught myself…

Lame ‘n lazy – The “”my fast”" ads aren’t intended to appeal to my demographic (rapidly approaching middle age and no Spiderman sheets), and maybe that’s why I think they’re lame. Their “”this is a car for guys & chicks don’t get it”" approach seems desperate, and one must wonder if the ad agency didn’t just get lazy and take the Bud Light approach in reaching their target buyer.
According to the New York Times, VW dismissed their old agency (“”Drivers Wanted”") without a review and signed on with the creators of this campaign. I’m inclined to sign on with another manufacturer (that Lexus I series is pretty nice) without reviewing VW’s new offerings. Seems like a reasonable thing to do.

I know a guy… – Hey, Shomare. My next door neighbor is a dermatologist (who drives a WRX) if you need to have that “”fast”" removed. I hear they can metastasize to the brain, and the next thing you know you’re driving a new Jetta, so sooner’s better ‘n later.
