CHANGING TIMING BELT!!!!
I have a jetta gasoline with 100,000 miles I need to replace the timing belt, can somebody tell me what ELSE i need to replace when i do this big job,
1- the water pump, that all the dealer is telling me to replace, but I dont want to go back and find out that I should have replace somthing else Thx for the help!!!

CHANGING TIMING BELT!!!! – In general, the belt is replaced along with its tensioner. The water pump isn’t in the maintenance schedule but it is a weak part and should definitely be replaced.
Have all your belts checked as well to see if any need replacement.
