The Myth of German Engineering

Faulty window regulators.
Faulty ignition coils.
Leaking sun roofs.
Leaking air filter seals.
Oil sludge.
Air conditioning compressors that fail.
Failing injectors.
Fuel line failure.
Broken glove box doors.
Rotting “”soft”" surfaces.

German engineering, the Volkswagen way!

Safety Recall – VWoA has issued a safety recall. (www.media.vw.com). The wiper motors on new model Passats may become inoperative. Also, the brake vacuum booster on new model 2.0 Passats may fail.
This may be a sign that VWoA may actually be owning up to problems with their vehicles. But then again, this is a safety problem and they probably had no choice. ( Unlike window regulator problems.
