sunroof

I have had a number of problems with my 06 Jetta TDI, my most recent problem is that my sunroof won’t close. I finally got the main part closed but it stays cracked. Anyone else had this problem I would be glad to know how you got it fixed or if you had to go to the dealer. I live 4 hours away from the nearest dealer and don’t want to go that far for such a problem. Please help!
